Internal Marks Setting.

Assessment types are internal marks settings for each faculties. Faculty can define the types of assessment he/she need to do in case of awarding internal marks to students. In the below master the user will define the value marks and equivalent marks required to compute the final marks.

What are Value Marks?

Value marks are the marks awarded to the students for a particular assessment like Assignments, Seminars etc.

What are Equivalent Marks?

Equivalent marks are the equivalent converted marks to fit into the internal marks recommended by University. Please refer example below to understand in real time.


For Example....

Suppose the total Marks recommened by the University is 150 divided into two components:

Internal Marks:         50 Marks

University Marks:   100 Marks

Total Marks Awarded:   150 Marks

Assessment Type Master

Menu Path: Productivity > Assessment Type

1. As shown above the user will select course (Like B Tech, M tech etc..).

2. Then will select the Category like Assignment, Exam, Attendance etc.

3. Then Faculty can name anything as per the naming convetion followed for naming an assessment.

4. Then Faculty will enter the Value Marks and Equivalent Marks
